Founded in Newry, Co. Down in 1817, Matt. D’Arcy & Co. Ltd. were among the finest producers of Irish Whiskey in the northern part of Ireland. Alongside brands like Old Comber and Dunville’s Irish Whiskey, throughout the 1800s Matt. D’Arcy helped build an Irish whiskey industry that was the envy of the world.
The Echlinville Distillery are now guardians of this fine old Irish whiskey. Also home to Dunville’s and Old Comber, Echlinville is proud to bring together three of Ireland’s most historic ‘lost’ whiskey brands, giving them their rightful place at the forefront of Ireland’s whiskey renaissance.
