“WHEN WE REVIVED DUNVILLE'S WE DID SO WITH A PROMISE TO RESTORE THE SPIRIT OF BELFAST TO ITS RIGHTFUL PLACE AMONG THE PREMIER WHISKEYS OF THE WORLD”
Tasting Notes
Nose
The lightest imaginable phenol drifts over the nose like glider over the Antrim coast. Quiet and barely noticeable unless you look for it, but what it surveys is rather beautiful.
Palate
Stunning texture – a mix of light ulmo honey and mocha makes for the friendliest and most beautiful delivery and follow through. The deft smoke drifts about without portfolio.
Finish
Long, slightly fruity now, with a lovely balance of stone fruits and sherry influence, which linger delightfully before finally giving way to rich mocha and that wonderful final kiss of smoke.
