BlogWe are hiring a Logistic Planner to join our busy team at Ireland’s first farm distillery.
Purpose
To ensure the production operation is adequately supplied with appropriate materials.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with suppliers and Distillery Production team to manage inbound logistics.
• Management of raw material and packaging stock data and stock levels optimised with production schedule.
• Provide regular status reports.
• Maintain and improve stock keeping record system.
Key Capabilities
• I.T. Skills in Microsoft Office Spreadsheet and Database applications.
• Confident in building relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
• Capable of handling numerous raw material components within a stock control system.
• Able to adopt and continuously improve stock control system.
• Candidates must be aware that the distillery operates a flexible shift pattern depending on demand and must have a valid UK driving licence.
Essential criteria
• A proven track record within production planning and / or material planning with at least 3 years experience in an FMCG environment.
• Educated to at least NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Business or a technical discipline.
