A team of Echlinville staff recently completed the Belfast City Marathon Walk to raise funds for The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
We were delighted to welcome Stephen Thompson, Chairman of the Northern Ireland branch of the MNDA, to Echlinville to receive a donation of £6065 towards MNDA NI’s vital work in supporting local people with MND, their families and carers.
MND is the name given to a group of related diseases affecting the motor neurones in the brain and spinal cord. It affects people in different ways so no two people will have exactly the same symptoms or experience of MND. MND affects not only the person with the disease, but also those close to them.
The MNDA NI provides crucial support, information and expertise to those affected by the disease, to help them navigate the challenges faced by them and their loved ones.
We would like to thank everyone who made a donation to Team Echlinville’s fundraising, and we send all good wishes to Stephen and his colleagues at MNDA NI in their amazing efforts to support those in our community who live with Motor Neurone Disease.
